29-30 weeks

I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm only going to be able to swing posting on here every 2 weeks.  And I'm okay with that.  Being that nobody has commented on my last few posts anyway, I figure the few of you lurkers who read this won't mind either.  :)

29 week pics:

30 week pics (huge and bloated from the heat...not a good look for me):

How far along? 30 weeks, 5 days

Maternity clothes? I'm getting to the point where I refuse to buy much more in the way of maternity clothes, since we're closing in on the last 2 months, and I'm almost done with work and will be able to live in yoga pants and tanks.  Anyway, I've had to get creative with my wardrobe in order to make myself look presentable enough to leave the house.  Stretchy materials are my friend.

Stretch marks? No.  Keeping my fingers tightly crossed that I make it through the next 9ish weeks without any.

Sleep: Alright.  Baby Girl has started flailing around like a mad woman when I lie on my side, so it's hard to get to sleep with her squirming, because it makes me feel like she's trying to break out through the sides of my stomach.

Best moment this week:  I have 3:

1.  Not pregnancy-related, but dropping Scrappy off at his doggy training boot camp.  I've called a couple of times to check on him, and it turns out he's doing really well, which is a huge relief because I've been worried sick about this for weeks.
2.  Finally feeling better after catching a cold that turned into the sinus/ear infection from hell.
3.  Going to our Labor/Childbirthing class 2 Sundays ago.  It was so sweet seeing Pat so involved and asking questions.  He's going to be a great labor partner, and an even better dad.  I knew that all along, but this class was a good reminder for me of what an amazing man I married.  ;)

Movement: Lots.  But it's starting to feel more like pushing and pressure rather than hard kicks or jabs.

Food cravings: I am in LOVE with Otter Pops (they gave the baby hiccups, which is hilarious).  Oh, and ice cream.  Pretty much any frozen treat.

Gender: Baby girl!

Labor Signs: Nope.  Some Braxton Hicks contractions still, but nothing to be worried about.

Belly Button in or out? Innie.  Getting shallower.

Wedding rings on or off? My wedding band still fits, so I'm wearing that without my engagement ring (I am SO grateful I never got the two soldered together).

What I miss: Sleeping for 8 hours straight.

What I am looking forward to: Going to Montana this weekend for my shower!  And celebrating a soon-to-be-bride and another mommy-to-be at their showers next weekend.

Milestones: 30 weeks feels like a huge milestone to me.  It seems like I was just getting to 20 weeks and wondering where the time went.  I can't believe she'll be here in about 2 months!!!
